If Tomorrow Comes

Today,
the day the Lord has made,
looking at clock, it ticks eight,
in a matter of time, would begin to fade
not minding your stakes.

Joggle all day
wishing for a slice of luck.
not minding what might knock.

If tomorrow comes,
then I would be a day older
let it be a day brighter
for it's a day to be conquered.

If tomorrow comes,
let it carve out sheer pleasure,
leaping higher than other days,
and I would keep my spirit high,
but not on wine.

If tomorrow comes,
that, I pray it comes,
Filled with fun,
Life taking its turns.
